Liberia Relief Project

Update, July 12, 2006
On July 30 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fireside room, Reverend Linda Koelman will give a brief program and update on Liberia. Linda has been traveling to Liberia annually (except for one year during the height of the civil war) since 1998 when she first visited there as a part of Operation Classroom. She coordinates African work teams for Minnesota’s Operation Classroom ministries and works closely with other groups and with the bishops of Liberia and Sierra Leone. She has visited the Ganta schools frequently and can report on the use of the books and supplies sent by our church to Liberia last fall. Please plan to attend and participate in the discussion.
