My faith statement, practiced in pastoral ministry:
I believe I have salvation by grace through faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This grace came to me as a free gift. My response to this gift of Gods love is thankfulness in all aspects of my life. My faith calls me to love and serve others. The foundation of my preaching is the Baptismal grace of God linking me with all believers in Jesus Christ. I attempt to proclaim how God is active in our daily lives, working for good, even in those seemingly hopeless situations in which we sometimes find ourselves. I am called by God to be in authentic relationships with others and to work for justice for all people.
