Everyone is a Minister of the Gospel
In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your acts of kindness, and give glory to your God. Matthew 5:16
Statement Of Call:
We are called by God to be a radically inclusive, caring community of faith – offering personal and social transformation through Jesus Christ.
We are a reconciling congregation welcoming people of all sexual orientations.
The two candles that grace the front of our altar remind us that the power of God is working within the peoples of Israel and Palestine to bring about lasting peace. There is hope!

The vision for youth ministry at Spirit of Hope United Methodist Church is to create an environment where youth in this community are empowered to feel valued and accepted through a supportive ministry in Christ which offers consistent fellowship and service opportunities.
Our youth ministry is guided by the following six principles:
Christ centered: making Christ alive in the lives of our youth.
Relational: youth ministry will provide intergenerational experiences as well as providing the opportunity to create inclusive relationships which share the love of Christ with others.
Student Leadership: youth will be invited to actively and responsibly participate in the life of the church.
Focus on service: youth will recognize the needs of others as Christ expects disciples to, and will strive to participate in a variety of community service and outward mission opportunities.
Safe, affirming environment: activities that are Christ-centered will provide a safe environment for youth to experience fellowship with other youth and adult leaders.
Fun: youth will experience fellowship together in recreational ministry so that they have consistent programming that will sustain their involvement
